Event Campground

Race Around the Rock Event Campground

Limited Affordable Camping Just Minutes from the Start Line

We've created an exclusive temporary campground for Race Around the Rock participants and their supporters, offering an affordable, convenient place to stay just a few minutes from the start and finish area in Fulford Harbour.

The campground is located on private farmland in the beautiful Fulford Valley and is available exclusively to registered Race Around the Rock participants, volunteers, and their accompanying supporters.

It's a simple, relaxed place to sleep the night and enjoy the camaraderie that makes rowing events so memorable.

Why we're offering this

Salt Spring Island has limited accommodation during the summer, and Race Around the Rock has traditionally coincided with a shortage of affordable places to stay. To help make the event more accessible—and to foster the social atmosphere that makes rowing events so special—we're pleased to offer this temporary campground exclusively for the Race Around the Rock community.

Convenient location

The Race Around the Rock Event Campground is located on a private farm in the Fulford Valley, approximately 2 km (a 2–3 minute drive) from Drummond Park, the start and finish venue for Race Around the Rock and the Saturday evening Captain's Dinner.

To respect the privacy of our generous land host and the residents who live on the property, the exact location and driving directions will be provided only to confirmed campers following registration and payment confirmation.
