PRESENTING PARTNERS
Race Around the Rock is made possible by an extraordinary group of organizations, businesses, volunteers, and community partners who believe in the future of coastal rowing on the Salish Sea.
Their support helps us deliver a safer, more accessible, and more memorable event while growing the sport for future generations.

Official Safety & Live Tracking Partner
Walker Aluminum Boats
Race Around the Rock takes place in one of the most spectacular—and demanding—coastal environments in the world. That's why we're proud to partner with Walker Aluminum Boats, whose rugged, custom-built boats are designed for life on the Pacific coast by people who know and love these waters.
Walker's generous support has made it possible to introduce live GPS race tracking for every competing crew, allowing spectators to follow the race in real time while giving Race Control greater situational awareness throughout the day.
Their connection to the race goes beyond sponsorship. Our lead Race Control safety vessel is a Walker aluminum boat, trusted to coordinate safety operations as crews make their way around Salt Spring Island.
Like Race Around the Rock itself, Walker Aluminum Boats celebrates adventure, craftsmanship, and confidence on the water. Every boat is built to meet its owner's unique needs and backed by a team that takes pride in standing behind its work.
We're incredibly grateful for Walker's partnership and for helping us deliver the safest, most connected Race Around the Rock yet.

FInish Line Celebration Partner
Mouat's Trading Co.
For more than a century, Mouat's Trading Co. has been part of the fabric of Salt Spring Island, supporting the people, organizations, and traditions that make our community unique.
We're proud to welcome Mouat's as the Official Finish Line Celebration Partner for Race Around the Rock 2026. Their generous support is helping us create a welcoming gathering place where athletes, volunteers, spectators, and the wider community can come together to celebrate an extraordinary day on the water.
This year's partnership is especially meaningful as Mouat's has chosen to make its contribution in honour of Tom Toynbee—former Salt Spring Island Rowing Club President, Commonwealth Games medallist, and one of the island's most passionate ambassadors for rowing. Tom's stories and encouragement have helped inspire this year's community awareness campaign, connecting the rich history of rowing on Salt Spring with an exciting vision for its future.
We're grateful to Mouat's for believing in that vision and for helping make the finish line celebration a place where the whole community is invited to experience the spirit of Race Around the Rock.

Official Media Partner
Gulf Islands Driftwood
Race Around the Rock is grateful to the Gulf Islands Driftwood for helping share the stories behind the race and connect the wider Salt Spring community with our event.
As our Official Media Partner, the Driftwood has once again generously supported Race Around the Rock through discounted print advertising, prominent online promotion, and a commitment to helping local readers discover what makes this event so special.
This year, that partnership grew beyond advertising. Through a series of feature articles highlighting Salt Spring's rich rowing history, the people behind the race, and the remarkable visitors drawn here from across the Pacific Northwest and beyond, the Driftwood has helped build community awareness and excitement leading up to race day.
We're especially grateful to publisher Gail Sjuberg and the Gulf Islands Driftwood team for their collaboration, encouragement, and belief in the long-term vision for Race Around the Rock and the Salt Spring Island Rowing Club.
